Tea plantations

The raw material used for tea production is sourced exclusively from our tea plantations located in the subtropical regions of Astara and Lankaran districts in Azerbaijan. The total area of our plantations is 450 hectares. The tea processing and packaging factory, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, commenced operations in 2015, capable of producing 10 tons of green tea daily.

No chemical additives are used during the cultivation and processing of tea, and the tea leaves are grown in environmentally clean conditions. Our tea fields undergo ecological monitoring by Germany's LACON company for the past 4 years.

Tea harvesting takes place twice a year, in May and August. A crucial aspect of quality production is the hand-picking of tea leaves in the morning hours by experienced harvesters. During harvesting, only the first three upper leaves of the tea branch are collected, as harvesting the remaining leaves may compromise the quality of the final product. We package the raw material ourselves immediately after harvesting. The raw material consists of green tea leaves. The weight of the product is highly dependent on factors such as climate, soil, and plant care. Approximately 25% of the harvested leaves are transformed into black tea (for example, 1000 kg of green leaves = 250 kg of black tea). After harvesting, the production is sent directly to the factory. Following the processing at the factory, the packaging process begins. We produce only black tea and categorize it into 2 types.
